The Teaching Health Center is under construction! Lawndale Christian Health Center is transforming 4 previous lots into a teaching center that will host the Family Medicine Residency Program, optometry clinic, a senior clinic, and other clinical training opportunities.
This new facility will include 35 exam rooms and 35,000 sq. ft. of lecture, education, and clinical space. Lawndale’s Family Medicine Residency will immediately expand the capacity for medical care on the west side of Chicago. It will provide clear career pathways for trainees at every level, ultimately promoting medical careers for groups historically underrepresented in medicine.
