Medicaid Redeterminations

Changes to Medicaid start for most people on January 1, 2027. Changes for some immigrants begin October 1, 2026.

One major change is more frequent redeterminations. Medicaid beneficiaries will now be required to complete the redetermination process every 6 months instead of every year. Please see below for information and resources.
